When properly installed, the Zimmer Impression Coping also "click". Contrary to the abutment's design, which engages 4 mm deep into the implant, these copings have a different finger configuration that engages 2 mm internally into the implant.

The benefit of this shorter engagement into the implant is that it enables divergent implant impressions to be drawn off-axis.
