1. The Impression Coping Implant is to record the exact position of the implant in the oral cavity.

2. Implant transfer impressions are generally taken in two ways: open-window impressions and closed-window impressions.

3. The impressions taken by using a tray with an open window and a transfer system with a fixation screw are called open-window impressions. Open-window impressions are more accurate.

The Impression Coping Implant is first fixed to the implant with a set screw, and the individual tray with an open window is tried on to make sure that the set screw can be put through the open window.

3. Closed-window impression taking, using a closed-window transfer bar, the closed tray containing the silicone rubber impression material is directly seated in the mouth when taking the impression, and after the impression material has solidified, the tray is directly removed from the mouth and the transfer bar is taken out of the mouth.

After 3 to 4 months of post-healing, the restoration of the crown is carried out directly, which is the third phase of the dental implant.

Each closed-tray impression Transfer Coping comes packaged with a retaining screw, compatible with the restorative instrumentation of the specified implant system. Do not use an open-tray transfer screw or guide pin with a closed-tray transfer coping, as the dissimilar screw lengths will allow the coping to slide along the screw shaft in an unpredictable manner.

Each open-tray Transfer Coping comes packaged with a retaining screw and a provisional screw,compatible with the restorative instrumentation of the specified implant system. The guide pin should be used throughout the impression process, while the open-tray transfer screw should only be utilized to affix the appropriate implant analog prior to delivery to the laboratory technician.

Contraindications

Impression coping implant should not be used for digital impressions captured with an intraoral scanner.

Sterility

Transfer Copings are packaged NON-STERILE. Prior to use in the oral environment, they should be cleaned, disinfected, and sterilized according to an FDA-recognized sterility assurance standard such as ANSI/AAMI ST79.
