Product description

The Megagen Ti Base is a CAD/CAM-designed zirconia abutment with a finished abutment. ti Base is made of pure titanium or grade 5 titanium-aluminum alloy (pure titanium is only grade 4, grade 5 and above are alloys). Megagen Ti Base is supplied by a manufacturer who specializes in providing accessories for implant companies, so that the precision of the connection to the implant can be guaranteed. The connection between the zirconium and the base is made by bonding. The bonding surface of the zirconium and the base must be sandblasted before bonding and the excess bonding agent must be removed under magnification after bonding. After the bonding is completed, it is ready for use.

Our titanium-based interfaces are made of high-quality titanium and serve as the connection between the implant and the final restoration. The base of the implant is an extremely important factor to consider when planning an implant system. Complications after prosthetic placement may include loss of osseointegration and/or screw loosening. The causes may be (but are not limited to) improper implant-abutment assembly, improper stress distribution, screw fatigue characteristics and occlusal overload. In order to achieve successful osseointegration and avoid screw loosening, Megagen Ti Base has designed a range of abutment interfaces that can be selected to best fit your specific needs.

Titanium is the most commonly used material in implant abutments due to its proven inert and hygienic properties as well as its biocompatibility. Our titanium abutments provide the foundation for high-strength implants because of titanium's remarkable mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, and ability to bond to bone. We undergo a series of compression and fatigue tests to obtain FDA approval and to ensure the optimal strength of our abutments.
