17°angled Multi Unit Abutment

Production Introduction

17°angled multi unit abutment is a type of restoration abutment that is used to correct or compensate for the lack of common placement between adjacent implants due to insufficient bone mass and other reasons. Load abutments are mostly used in the restoration of posterior teeth with half-portion implants. The angle is mostly 0° for anterior teeth, 17° and 30° for posterior teeth.The abutment consists of two parts, (abutment and central screw).

The abutment and the implant are connected by a central screw, and the restoration and the abutment are connected by screws.

When selecting the angle type of the Multi-unit abutment, it should be selected according to the angle between the long axis of the implanted implant and the HE plane, then to correct the inclined restoration to the HE plane.

The body of the transfer cap is fixed to the abutment by a central screw rod, which is similar to a regular open tray transfer, It should be noted that this type of transfer is only suitable for horizontal impressions of the abutment.
